We’re starting the festive season bright and early on Friday 21st November with our famous Ladies Night! Buckle up girls, Santa’s coming to town and it’s going to be a wild ride! As December gets underway, festive celebrations start with a blast from the past! On the 4th of December, our stage is taken over by the Atomic 80s evening. Think neon lights, hairspray, and the sounds of some of the decade’s biggest hits. This is an evening of pure nostalgia with a superb live band, ATOMIC – the perfect setting for your leg warmers and singing along to your favourite retro hits. Enjoy a beautiful 3-course meal, brilliant 80’s tribute band, all followed by our DJ and late bar until 1am. The Best Christmas Party Lunches Are at OEC Sheffield
The following weekends bring our much-loved Christmas Party Lunches on 6th and 13th December. These afternoons are a fantastic opportunity to gather friends, family, or your work besties for a festive feast in true OEC style. Our chefs put together a delicious menu, the room sparkles with seasonal décor, and the entertainment keeps spirits high. These lunches capture everything people love about Christmas: laughter, food, music, and a shared sense of joy.

If you prefer a touch of comedy with your Christmas cheer, the Comedy Drag Lunches on 7th and 20th December are a perfect pick. These events combine festive dining with the glitz, glamour, and outrageous fun of drag performance. Expect quick wit, dazzling costumes, and plenty of laughter alongside your Christmas meal. They’re cheeky, theatrical, and guaranteed to leave you grinning long after the last course has been cleared away.
Where To Catch Live Music in Sheffield This Festive Season
Midway through the month, on 10th December, we welcome the Jersey Boys Tribute. With those distinctive harmonies and unforgettable hits, this evening is tailor-made for fans of timeless tunes from Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Treat yourselves to a 3-course meal, live Frankie Valli tribute (Big Girls Don’t Cry, Sherry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You), followed by our DJ and late bar until 1am. Style never goes out of fashion!
The following night, on 11th December, the party takes a disco-drenched turn with ABBA Fever. If you know all the words to Dancing Queen and Waterloo, this is an evening you won’t want to miss. ABBA nights at OEC are always popular, with dancefloors full and voices raised in unison to some of the catchiest songs ever written. Starting off with a 3-course meal to set you up for the ABBA Fever live tribute show, followed with DJ and bar open until 1am, you’re on the Money, Money, Money!
For those who fancy lunchtime celebrations, 14th December brings a Christmas Party Lunch not to be missed. It’s a chance to indulge in a midday celebration, filled with fabulous food, a warm atmosphere, and the kind of festive sparkle that makes December special. From 2pm you’ll revel in festive cheer with live singers, scrumptious food and DJ and bar until 8pm. This is an interactive festive show to usher in the tinsel season with style.

As we move closer to Christmas, the Merry Motown evenings on 17th and 18th December promise two nights of soul-stirring music and classic hits. Picture the sounds of Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, and The Drifters filling the room as you boogie the night away. These events are among our most popular, thanks to their feel-good vibe and timeless music. There’s something about Motown that simply never goes out of style, and combine our live Soultown Collective show with a DJ and bar until 1am and you’ve got the magic of an unforgettable Christmas.
On 21st December, it’s time for a dose of 80s magic over lunch! The Atomic 80s Lunch is the perfect daytime celebration of the decade’s biggest hits, paired with festive 3-course dining, live band ATOMIC and lively crowd. Soak up all the energy of our evening events, with a slightly earlier finish of 8pm – perfect if you’ve got a busy festive calendar.
After Christmas Day, when the turkey has been carved and presents unwrapped, the celebrations at OEC Sheffield don’t stop. On 27th December, our Motown & Soul Disco keeps the festive spirit alive with an evening dedicated to dance, rhythm, and soulful vibes. This is the perfect way to keep the good times rolling between Christmas and New Year, bringing friends and family back together for an afternoon of fun.
If you missed the last one, fear not, on 28th December our Mamma Mia Family Lunch returns for guests of all ages – families looking for a festive outing that’s full of joy. With the infectious sounds of Mamma Mia and ABBA classics, children and adults will be up on their feet, singing and dancing together. Enjoy a Greek buffet, live tribute show – The Dynamos – plus DJ and bar until 8pm, to make this an afternoon packed with memories you’ll treasure long after the season has passed.
What Is The Biggest New Year’s Eve Party in Sheffield?
As December draws to a close, the jewel in OEC Sheffield’s crown is our grand New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner on 31st December. Expect the most glamorous night of the year.
