Cricket legends Ian Botham and Geoff Miller will be gracing us with their presences in March 2021 – meaning that any test match fans will do best booking in now to sample our sumptuous menus while listening to some of the biggest secrets of English cricket that the superstars are willing to spill.
Beefy and Dusty are no strangers to the world of public speaking, which means that as well as having the chance to meet your cricket heroes in the flesh, you’ll be sure to take away some wonderful highlights from their illustrious careers. Cricket is perhaps wilder and woollier than you’d imagine – and who better to give their account of English cricketing history than Botham and Miller?

White and Virgo: Snooker Superstars
If you’re more likely to feel at home on the table than on the wicket, you’ll want to hold fire for our Legends of Snooker event, set to take place at The OEC in April 2021. We’re pleased to be hosting legendary masters Jimmy White and John Virgo, icons of the sport going back decades. Hosted by Jade Slusarczyk and Colin Phillips, this sporting dinner is likely to appeal to anyone who’s taken on a table or two in their time.
White and Virgo’s careers have been illustrious – and, as always, they’re going to have a few stories to share with us when we play host in the spring of 2021. Many will remember Virgo, too, from his time co-presenting the popular snooker game show ‘Big Break’ during the 1990s!
Snooker might be one of the more lower-octane sports out there, but snooker champions are immensely talented. This sporting dinner promises to celebrate the ins and outs of the game, giving guests the chance to gain some insight into what’s often an easy sport to pick up, but incredibly difficult to master.
Again, as with our cricket evening, do make sure to book in for an audience with legends of snooker now – as it will soon be April before you know it!
